The COVID-19 pandemic is creating an unprecedented wave of mental health challenges for our nation’s children. One of the most critical tasks confronting schools across the country this academic year, and for years to come, is supporting the growing number of students who will need mental health support, as well as building resiliency and coping skills among all students to make sure they are ready to learn.

This virtual workshop will provide actionable strategies districts can use to meet this challenge, building on the work of two leading organizations in the SEL and mental health space—Panorama and the Education Development Center. The workshop will walk participants through the process of developing and implementing multi-tiered systems of SEL and mental health support that are data-driven, evidence-based, culturally responsive, and sustainable.
